PENSION PLANNING AND ADVISORY SERVICES

FUNCTIONS OF THE PRODUCT

▪ Provide advisory services to clients on passage and implementation of Pension Reform Acts 2004

▪ Collaborate with the States Assemblies on the passage of the Pension Bills and ensuring subsequent compliance by the public and private institutions within the purview of the states.

▪ Valuation of the entire accrued past service pension benefits of the government employees.

▪ Assisting the states on migration from Defined Benefits Schemes and
Pay-As-You-Earned (PAYE) to fully funded Defined Contribution
Schemes.

▪ Assisting in the collation and sanitation of the existing pensioners Data
Base.

▪ Determine the Present Value (Cost Implication) of Retirement Benefit
Bond Redemption Funds.

▪ Determine the Transfer Value of the existing employees entitlements under Defined Benefit Scheme to the new dispensation (Retirement Savings Accounts RSA).

▪ Verifying the basis of calculation and scale of benefits for the existing pensioners under defined benefit scheme.

▪ Organizing sensitization and awareness programme for the workforce of
the client.

▪ Assist the client in selection of PFA etc.

▪ Organize workshop for people who are close to retirement age.
